Oakland by Bay Area artist Miwako Nishizawa
"Welcome Aboard the Bay Area" is a series of art posters featuring original works by Bay Area illustrators.
Artist Miwako Nishizawa, originally from Kyoto, Japan, uses a traditional moku-hanga woodblock printing technique to present Bay Area views. "The Bay Area's nature is so close to Japanese nature," says Nishizawa. The prints feature familiar landscapes, transformed into exotic views from another time and place.
Posters are sold As-Is. Due to limited quantities, there is a limit of 5 posters per customer.
